Credit Recharge (Payment Gateway Module)
Recharge copy and print balance using credit/debit cards, hardware cash loaders or other payment systems
The PaperCut Payment Gateway Module is an additional component that provides services that allow users to transfer funds from an external source (hardware, software, payment gateway, service) into their personal PaperCut MF copy and print account.

Cash Value Loaders
Value loaders are hardware units that enable users to top up their PaperCut MF accounts in self serviced environments. The units accept coins, notes or a combination of both, and optionally print receipts. The PaperCut MF Payment Gateway module allows users to deposit cash directly using the loader directly into their PaperCut MF account.

Cashless Systems
Organizations that use a centralized account system to manage cashless payments across a number of on campus services can benefit from the PaperCut MF Payment Gateway. These systems provide a database of users and interfaces/API's to withdraw funds from the centralized account using the PaperCut MF "Add Credit" facility. The Payment Gateway module can be configured to use these API's to transfer/withdraw funds from the central database when the user chooses.
Online Payment
Funds may be deposited using 3rd party payment gateway providers such as those provided by banks or organizations like PayPal, VeriSign and My Student Account (Asia Pacific Region only). The payment interface may be provided for internal use (e.g. for student only use), or opened up for external access to allow parents to make payments via the web. The Payment Gateway module can hook into a number of leading service providers or may be quickly adapted to fit others.
Student Fee/Management Systems
A number of leading higher education organizations use the Payment Gateway module to allow students to transfer small amounts of credit into their copy and print account. At the end of semester/term, this amount is totalled up and added to their fees/loan. The Payment Gateway module can be configured to automatically debit the student management records or an external database system.
Custom Applications
The Payment Gateway module supports plug-ins and can quickly be customized to support other 3rd party systems. The customization can be performed by either the PaperCut development team or internally using your own development staff/skills. Module Options
The development team aims to make as many module options available as standard under one common price. Some options however may incur additional costs because of the need for custom configuration or development. Some external sources also charge PaperCut "an API access fee". Any API access fees are transparently disclosed and passed on without mark-up.
